Great chat with my friend Geri this morning on Skype. We both started our SFM businesses at the same time and met at our first Momentum day 3 years ago - wow time flies!
Anyway we were talking about technology today and how much it has changed our worlds.
Geri was talking about her kids and how they are using technology and how much it has become a part of teaching.
I’m a bit older than Geri and
remember my Dad who was in education management, coming home with one of the first computers - a Sinclair ZX81! (remember those?)
You had to actually program it using basic computer language to do the simplest things but how amazing we thought it was as we played a tennis game - on our TV!!
I was talking
about how technology has revolutionised two of my lifelong passions: Music and photography completely.
All that’s happened since those early days when - lets face it - technology was pretty crap is truly astounding and I absolutely LOVE IT
Especially since it has allowed me to completely re-invent myself
and the way I can live life.
I just don’t understand why everyone isn’t doing it …… It’s not that difficult with the right training and know how
Which you can get by clicking
here
So why, when this is so completely possible now - the evidence is everywhere after all - would you want to carry on doing things the old way?????
Exchanging your time for money 9-5, 5 days a week?? For 40 years??? To retire on 40% of what wasn’t enough
anyway????
Why? - help me out here!
It’s like stubbornly refusing to evolve …. crazy!
Cheers!
