Every now and then I get an email that is worth reading and worth quoting.
Yesterday that mail came from Clickbank -
an affiliate network where you can find thousands of products to promote online for commission.
They’ve been around for years and they know what they’re talking about.
Here’s what they said:
------------------------------------
|
“If there was
one job, one profession that could set you free and let you work on your own time, we believe affiliate marketing would have to be it.
- It doesn’t discriminate against age, race or gender
- It doesn’t care about who your parents were, your previous experience or whether you went to college or not
- It doesn’t require you to be a people person or to dress to impress
- It doesn’t care about anything that would concern "normal employers"
So if all that’s true, why aren’t more people succeeding online?
There are many reasons obviously, but there is ONE UGLY TRUTH that holds more people back than anything else
we know of...
They just don’t know how.
It’s not that people don’t have access to “how to” information.
It’s that for whatever the reason, it usually doesn’t work as stated.
Too many affiliate marketers we know have had the experience of buying an affiliate marketing information product, perhaps spending thousands on it, only to discover it doesn’t work”.
----------------------------------------------
So true - all of it. The email goes on to promote Clickbank’s own course on affiliate marketing.
But they don’t mention 2 key things:
1.This is low cost, low margin affiliate marketing. You need to sell A LOT of Clickbank products to make decent money.
2.The big advertising platforms like Facebook and Google Adwords really don’t like this kind of affiliate selling.
The SFM and DEA training concentrates on High Ticket products and services.
Obviously the profits are far higher for less work but believe it or not they are actually easier to sell than low ticket - When you learn how to put them in front the right people that is.
Again, this is part and parcel of what SFM and DEA teach. (and provide the products)
Put it this way - Would you rather have to sell 500 products or 1 or 2 to make $10K profit?
No brainer?
I’ve created a 3 part video series looking at affiliate marketing and why high ticket is best on my website - Here’s the link
But I seriously do agree with Clickbank’s
opening statement ...
“If there was one job, one profession that could set you free and let you work on your own time, we believe affiliate marketing would have to be it.”
Cheers!
