Yesterday Amazon delivered a box of goodies - always an exciting development here in the Scottish highlands!

In the box was: A Gopro style sports camera, a Rode professional microphone, A wind breaker for the mic, an LED camera lamp and a 32gb memory card for the camera. 

I bought these, and a audio input device for my Macbook (which should arrive today) with some of the fee I earned from my first paid video project.

Not only will they give me more options for future marketing and freelance video making but they will increase the quality of those videos. 

You see since becoming an internet entrepreneur I have learned to develop an investor state of mind. 

This is probably the most important mindset shift you can make and is a key part of the SFM and DEA’s “success blueprint”. 

Whilst I’ve always been able to make my passions at least pay for themselves, I now focus on making them do much more than just cover their costs.

One of the ways you can do this online is to shoot unboxing videos of anything you buy. 

If you buy from Amazon as I usually do, you can become an affiliate for free and use those videos to promote links to the products you unbox and review. 

I shot an unboxing video for each of these investments yesterday (then I had to run out and buy batteries to try them out! LOL) - I’ll share the videos with you once I’ve edited them. 

The point is that this Investment mindset is something you will need from the get go if you want to transition from being an employee to an entrepreneur. 

With something like SFM and DEA that starts when you decide where to position yourself in the pay plan.

And like my new equipment will - smart investments ALWAYS pay off. That’s how with just a few sales I’ve once again just had one of the highest earning months of my life.
