It seems to be really tough to predict the weather (our national obsession here in the UK lol) 

But predicting the traditional economy is simpler:

It’ll go from boom to bust in a predictable 10 year cycle with each boom getting shorter and smaller and every bust getting longer and deeper. 

Luckily unlike the weather - we do have an alternative to the traditional economy. 

The digital economy 

Ironically its also the one that’s helping to make things tougher and tougher for the tired old trad economy:

It’s replacing the need for humans for one thing -

It’s changing the way we do business, the way we buy and consume things and it’s moving faster than a runaway train.
