On a recent mail from friends and mentors of mine they shared some facts about a very well know person that I had no clue about.
I won’t simply steal their email but here’s some key points you might be surprised and hopefully very inspired by….especially when you learn who I’m talking about.
By 20 yrs old he had lost his father, quit school, lost 4 jobs, been rejected from law school, had failed in the army and as an insurance salesman and his wife had left him taking their baby
daughter…..
He failed to kidnap his daughter but managed to convince his wife to come back to him. He took a job cooking at a small cafe until he retired at 65.
When he received a government cheque for $105 on day one of his retirement he felt insulted by it and reflecting on all the
failures in his life, decided to commit suicide.
AS he sat under a tree writing his will he had an epiphany of a kind: He realised that there was so much more he could have done and that he he did actually have one talent - cooking.
By 88 he was a millioniare known as Colonel Sanders - of KFC
fame.
That’s a hard life to come back from don’t you think? And a tough way to do it - selling chicken door to door.
When you consider the opportunities open to us all now in the age of the internet it really puts that into
perspective.
But if he could do that at 65 back in the 50’s just imagine what YOU can do now - no matter what age you are - with just the resources at you fingertips
And you don’t even need to invent anything!
You’d almost be deep fried crazy not to! LOL : )
Cheers!
