Hey folks. Struggling with broadband here again over the last couple of days but that’s the price you pay for the quiet life in rural Scotland! 

Anyway I just wanted to share a little pice of wisdom I’ve come to accept - if you need something: something thats really going to help you in business or just life in general - just get it. 

Coming back from a long drive on Saturday a mile or from home, I looked out to sea. The tide was really far out and on a couple of rocks were perched a seal and a gull. 

It was raining and I couldn’t really be bothered to stop but as I had the camera complete with new telephoto lens in the car I made the effort. 

I was able, as the tide was so far out, to get reasonably close but I had a new pair of shoes on so couldn’t get quite close enough to get what would have been an amazing shot (I sell photo’s online and like doing landscape and wildlife photography) 

I realised that I needed a pair of wellies for these occasions so as soon as I got home I logged into Amazon and ordered a pair. 

I know this is a small thing but actually those wellies will help me get better shots in future when the opportunity presents itself. Now I can squelch through the seaweed and rock pools to get closer to “Gold”.

On a bigger level, the same principle can be applied to changing your life in more dramatic ways.

A few years ago I needed to replace my income. I wanted to live somewhere like where we now do live and wanted my own business. I never again wanted to be at the mercy of an employer or to have to commute for hours a day or to have my earnings and time restricted.

At that point - call it the law of attraction if you will - SFM presented to me - just when I needed it. 

I jumped at it and now here I am.
