During a conversation with a friend of mine who has been in business for many years we discussed how much it really costs to start a decent business.

We were wondering what sort of traditional business you could start and get into profit quickly for a few thousand pounds - say $5000 - $10,000 or £3800 - £7500 

We couldn’t think of any. 

Most decent quality, established franchises for example would be out of that range by the time you factored everything in on top of the buy in price. 

A retail shop too would be out of that range.

“How about a mobile snack van?” we wondered…..

After a quick skim on Google we found that yes you probably could buy a (very) used, fully fitted out snack van in that price range. Maybe you could even pay for a traders licence and a year’s rent on a decent pitch.

Maybe you’d even have a little change from 10K to buy a few er… burgers.

How many burgers and cups of tea would you need to sell though to recoup the investment and start showing profit? 

And would you really want to spend your days in a cramped, smelly, sometimes cold van frying food?

Oddly enough this is something I once considered but when I looked at the SFM and DEA’s affiliate partnership prices and commission structure, I quickly changed course! Thank goodness.

A budget of $5-10K would pay for all but the top level DEA Black partnership - It would get you to Platinum in fact.

That would make you eligible for commissions of between $1000 and $6500 per sale. 

You would attend a 3 day branding workshop and come away with a custom built, professional branded website and social media profiles.

You would be learning professional digital marketing skills that would keep you in clover for the rest of your days, working from wherever and whenever you wanted to. 

Or you could have the burger van……

It’s really not possible to start a proper business without some money. 

Why then wouldn’t you want the absolute best bang for your buck? - The best income potential, the fastest possible return on your investment and the fastest route to profit.

There is no better place to do this on a budget these days than on the internet and the SFM and DEA provides the best value for money - considering what you get for it - that I have ever seen.
