I tell you this - it really is a good job that I don’t usually have to be anywhere in particular at 9am in the morning any more!
Because our two cats - Dallas who’s just turned 1 year old and Skye ( the new one) who is 4 months old have established a nightmare routine.
It normally kicks off at around 5.30 am when they start chasing each other around the house at breakneck speed. Honestly it sounds like a herd of buffalo!
The only way to stop it is for one of us to get up, let the big one out and feed the little one. That buys us a little more shut eye - say till 8.30.
To be honest it doesn’t really matter much when I start work on my business which is a good job because all this early morning cat stuff means I’m not fit for purpose till around 10am.
Anyway - who decided that 9am was the optimum time to start work?? How could that possibly suit absolutely everyone??
I believe that if every single person in the world was forced to live this way there would probably be no art or music and no individuality.
That would suit the powers that be I’m sure but what a sad world it would be.
Thankfully there are options!
So if the 9-5 regime really doesn’t suit you then dump it ! Hooray!
Cheers!
