So I’ve just been playing around with my fancy new camera lens which arrived this afternoon.
Wow! There really is a reason why the best costs more.
It’s astonishing and so far I just snapped a few shots in an around the house (posted on Facebook if your a friend on there - if not it’s Dave W Menzies)
I’ll do an “unboxing video” at some point.
The point is though I never hesitate to spend money on things I know are the best for my purpose.
It was the same with my guitars (Les Paul, Fender Strat) My amps (Marshall and Roland) and all my sound equipment (won’t bore you with the details) My car (BMW) And my devices (Apple)
When you do research on something your going to invest in - and all these things are investments for me - the quality always shines through.
Inevitably, they are not the cheapest products or services around but they are the best.
It was the same for me with SFM when I was looking for a business and an education to invest in. They just shone through.
I always laugh when my partner gets enquiries about her driving instruction business for example. I mean the ones who are looking for the cheapest deal they can get.
For them saving a pound or two is all they are interested in - not the fact that she has an amazing first time pass rate, a ton of recommendations on her Facebook page and a long waiting list (even though other instructors are available)
Don’t know about you but I always buy the best I can afford. Anything else
really is false economy.
Have a great weekend.
Cheers!
