Must admit that we love it when friends come to visit our little coastal hideaway but it’s also great when they head back home!

We’ve had a fabulous week of sunshine which is not that common in Springtime in the highlands and islands. But when we get the sun there is no place in the world we would rather be (an we have travelled a fair bit) 

We had an old friend over this weekend complete with new partner - we had never met this guy before so weren’t quite sure what to expect.

As it turned out he was about as completely different to the her husband as its possible to be - but I guess that’s logical since their marriage lasted 20 years or so and ended badly. 

I recorded a video for my current SFM 90 day video challenge from the pier as I was waiting to pick them up from the ferry in fact and I’ll do the follow up video today. 

I guess the point of telling you about this is that life is always better and more surprising when you don’t make assumptions or have pre-conceived ideas about people.

When I fist met this guy for example he’s not the kind of guy I would have expected to produce  several bottles of very expensive French red wine - but that’s what he did : ) - Always guaranteed to endear someone to me ! 

The same rule applies to starting something new - like a business partnership or online business. 

But at least with SFM you get a pretty detailed introduction before you “invite them into life” as it were in the form of their 7 day video series. 

But as with when you meet a new person for the first time  - you really just scratch the surface.

That’s absolutely the case with SFM. My relationship with SFM and DEA since meeting them for the first time has gone from strength to strength.

As for our friends new fella - who knows (but if he keeps turning up with the quality red stuff I foresee a great friendship!)
