Well yesterday was a bust for me.
I got some work done early in the day but then things went
sideways!
Our resident cat is finding it difficult to accept that a new kitten has moved in to his space. So I had to devote a lot of the day to keeping him from getting too rough with her.
Then, possibly because it was a bank holiday here, a number of my partner’s students cancelled driving lessons so she was
here for a few hours in the middle of the day.
She decide to use the time to list some of her had made soft furnishings on Ebay and as the resident digital expert I was enlisted to help.
BY the time she went back out for her final couple of lessons my flow was well and truly
interrupted!
But that’s just the way it goes sometimes and I have to be grateful that for me - its not a big deal.
I can take that time whenever i need to without it affecting my business much - in fact I still made some automatic sales (they came in before I got of bed in fact)
That for me is the true brilliance of internet marketing as a career or business. There’s just no link between time and income: Its not like when you don’t work you don’t earn as with most self employment.
When you are able to build up “online real estate”: Blogs, videos, ads etc - It’s out there working for you 24/7/365 - even when
you’re busy separating warring felines or helping a partner with some e-commerce.
Doesn’t really matter much what day or days of the week are suddenly disrupted. Try saying that about a job or a traditional business!
Your boss or employees would just love you wouldn’t they! “I won’t be in today
guys I need to spend some time with the new kitten” LOL!
Stroll on : )
Cheers!
