On Friday night my mate Alan and I had a some fun via our smartphones and Whatsapp - a little messaging app that allows you to text, send images and videos via
broadband.
He’s at the other end of the country from me and we often do this on Friday’s when we both often cook dinner for our partners' - while having a drink or two : )
We usually start by sending an image of whatever tipple we are enjoying with the message “what’s for dinner?”
This week we were both doing Thai curries and I sent Alan a shot of my home made naan bread in the frying pan (pictured above)
He messaged back saying he could do with some of those and could I send him the link to the recipe. A few minutes later he sent back a pic of the naan he had just made using the
recipe.
Now I met Alan at an SFM Momentum day 3 years ago - so we are both now earning our livings on the internet.
When we caught up this morning on our weekly Skype call we talked about how, with the knowledge, training and digital business systems we now have, our Friday “What’s for dinner?” interludes
could easily be made into a business.
Neither of us want to - we just enjoy cooking (more so the eating and drinking part) - it’s not a burning passion, but the point is we know how to.
It’s not a million miles from what internet entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk has done with his passion for
wine.
I’ve actually done it with my passion for all things Guitar and all the resources my SFM membership gives me.
So if you like the idea of turning something you love or have a passion for into a fun, fulfilling business - all that’s stopping you is a little know how, and access to some proven tools,
systems and resources.
They are all waiting for you just after the first step - A risk free application to join…
Life is
good!
Cheers!
