Before I came across SFM, in much the same way as you did, and decided to really go for it with all this internet business stuff I was in a bit of a limbo
situation.
I had been made redundant but was on 3 months paid garden leave. I also had some redundancy pay and had some savings.
This gave me a little breathing space - some time to look at my options.
My main
thoughts were that I needed to invest in some sort of further education in order to increase and widen my options.
One of the things I did was to do a course in teaching English as a foreign language. I’d always been good at English and my dad’s career had been in teaching English - first as a teacher then as an English adviser for the Strathclyde region. So it was sort of in the
blood.
Although I never did anything with the qualifications I earned, I did learn a lot that has been useful in my business.
One of those things is that text based communication is actually quite difficult.
It misses the whole face to face thing - all the nuances, facial expressions, tone of voice etc that really help with communicating.
That’s why video is such a powerful method of communication when face to face isn’t possible - as with internet marketing.
So whenever people email
me to ask about SFM, internet marketing, home business set up etc, I encourage them to arrange an actual conversation with me - Preferably on Skype where we can use cameras and see each other as we talk - but if that’s not possible then by phone.
With that in mind, if YOU are dying to get some questions answered I’m inviting you to get in touch with me for a
friendly chat. What's to lose?
My skype address is - winedayuk. You can request to add me as a contact and leave a note for me or you can visit my website - davemenzies.com and use the pop up meeting scheduler to suggest a suitable time.
Although the whole point of an internet business
is that it can be largely automated , SFM is a people business and I’m a little “old skool” in that I like to talk to people.
Looking forward to touching base with you ….
Cheers!
