Happy Mother’s day Uk mums ! 

We had a little taste of summer here yesterday so were able to get started on the garden projects in the new place. 

We have a great big raised deck which has not been painted or otherwise cared for for some time. Yesterday we gave it a much needed coat of paint. 

Then of course it had to be christened so we set up the garden table and chairs and had an alfresco lunch. 

I just know that we’ll be spending most of our time out there in the summer months. And the good news is that the wifi connection from the house is oK out there too  - so guess where I’ll be working from a lot? 

No summer commuting for me - no stuffy offices - truly the laptop lifestyle!
