Rainbows and Unicorns Vs Reality

Published: Fri, 02/19/16

I had a chat on Facebook with someone I’ve known since “the bad old days” when we were both fumbling around in the dark looking for a sustainable online business opportunity.

I was asking her why the hell she hasn’t joined SFM yet?

I did tell her all about it when I found it myself but she thought it was too expensive.

Ironically she has since spent a fortune on schemes and opportunities that have all fallen flat - as they all do.

It’s called chasing rainbows and unicorns.

It’s a very difficult mindset to get out of but if you really want a permanent, life changing REAL business and a set of transferable skills that’ll look after you for life - the rainbows and Unicorns mindset has to go!

There are two clear sides to the internet industry in my experience:

1. The short lived, unsustainable crap (Rainbows and Unicorns)

2. Professional digital marketing. (long term, sustainable, flexible and recession proof)

The first might look cheaper at first but in the long term, will cost you much more and will continually bring you back to square one - desperately looking for the next “Big Thing”.

The second is a solid investment in your future which will pay for itself many times over.

Either way you get what you pay for ….
