For me has been the times where I’ve been able to generate income from doing something I love.
For me that’s
usually something creative: Music, photography and writing.
But entrepreneurialism (if that’s a word?) is also creative because it relies on your ability to be resourceful with whatever you have:
Am I the world’s best photographer? - no way but I’ve sold some of my photographs online and have been paid to do
photography.
Am I the worlds best guitarist? - Of course not (i’m pretty good though!) - but I’ve played in quite a few countries and made money doing it - both for playing live and by selling self made CD’s at those gigs.
Am I a great writer - I’m ok I think. I’ll never be anywhere near as good as
any of my favourite writers. Yet I’ve made money form writing blogs.
The point here is not to blow my own trumpet but to stress the fact that the digital world allows anyone to explore and make income from their interests, passions and talents.
Because had it not been for the internet and internet
marketing skills training I’d never have made a bean out of photography or writing.
I’d still have done OK with music but I often wish I’d been just a few years younger when I see what the possibilities are now for aspiring musicians and bands who leverage the internet.
So whilst you’ll often hear me talking about the business side
of SFM and DEA - For many people that becomes almost a secondary business.
They use the training, tools and resources to create income streams around the things they love and care deeply about.
And guess what happens? When people ask them how they learned to
do that - they point then to SFM and DEA - a business which largely looks after itself.
So as the weekend approaches ask yourself how that might work for you.
Cheers!
