I was having a weird dream this morning when the alarm clock woke me - my partner had an early start so that was 8am - very unusual for me! 

Opening the curtains I saw that long line of car headlights on the other side of the water - workers starting their commute to work along the Ayrshire coast road - weirder than any dream to me these days!

Anyway in the dream we were back at our old home in Glasgow. We had just got back from somewhere and heard one of our neighbours welcoming people into to his party. 

We remembered that we’d been invited too and thought we’d better put in an appearance. So we rushed in, quickly changed, grabbed a bottle of wine as a gift and headed in to the party.

It was busy (oddly his apartment had turned into a large bar) and I met a couple of old friends right away - guys I hadn’t seen since our college days (weird)

Immediately one of them asked “So Dave, what’s all this making money online thing all about?”

So I explained affiliate marketing to them and answered all their questions about how I was doing with it, how sustainable I thought it was, and if they were interested in looking into it - what was the best way to start.

Naturally I pointed them towards SFM.

I explained how their system leveraged the internet and made it possible to create multiple, automated income streams around any product or service they cared to name. 

Then the discussion led to how much the internet has changed everything in our life times. Being all around the same age we had all seen this quite dramatically. 

We didn’t have computers at school, there was no Facebook, no Google, no email - no internet basically. It was the same when we all started working. 

I asked them to think about how much it had changed their work and personal lives - one an architect, the other a manager at a five aside football venue.

 I asked them to have a think about how many traditional jobs and businesses had been replaced by the internet and technology - how many more would soon follow ….

Both were amazed when they actually thought about it. We ended up by exchanging email addresses and they asked me to send them links to the SFM free video series - you know - the one you got.

Like I say - a weird dream - but actually this is very much how affiliate marketing and digital education works. 

With a conversation.

In my dream the conversation was with some old friends. In reality it can start with anyone, anywhere in the world. 

These days the truth is stranger than fiction!
