For some reason today I was thinking about my old boss as we were getting started on the last room in our new house - my office.
I used to feel quite bitter about him. Not long after he made myself and 5 other friends and colleagues redundant, he retired to his villa in Tuscany with his Maserati sitting in the drive.
Now as I look out of my new office window to the sea and the hills beyond, I actually feel grateful to
him.
Without the kick up the ass that redundancy gave me I’d probably still be procrastinating about starting my own business.
I’d still be working the same job, feeling unfulfilled and right now my festive break would be tarnished by the thought of the clock ticking down the days and
hours till the holidays were over.
That awful January feeling
Back to work when actually in my industry it was the quietest time of year. The weather here is usually terrible, the days short and the nights long. Commuting to work in the dark and returning home in the dark after a dull 8
hour day.
That really is a terrible way to live. Thats why I thank my old boss now for forcing me to think again- To start looking for a better way.
For me that search ended when I was introduced to SFM and DEA
These are the 3 things I feel grateful to have built in to my life since then:
Financial independence - I don’t rely on someone else for my income and I have learned skills that ensure I never will.
Location Freedom - I can live and run my business from
anywhere I want to.
Time Freedom - I’ve stopped exchanging my precious time for money and can spend much more time doing the things I want to and spending it with the people I want to.
If you have that nagging - “Shit ! back to work soon”
feeling right now, then do something positive about it.
SFM and DEA can be the vehicle to get you where you TRULY want to be.
It all starts with an application - Visit the application page here
Cheers!
