I often think we could learn a lot from cats
Take our 6 month old kitten
Dallas for example.
We’ve carefully kept him inside for 6 months. Got his shots done, waited till he was old enough to be dressed (which he took in his stride) then another week to let him heal properly.
We got him a collar with a little I.D. capsule on Saturday then we nervously opened the front door to et him out
to the big world.
He sprang out and promptly disappeared under a bush. We followed him into the garden and paced around with a box of food - like nervous parents at our child’s first school play.
We needn’t have worried. He just snooped around for a while then cam back for some food when he was hungry and went to
sleep.
Now I know the old saying “Curiosity killed the cat” and am not suggesting we copy a cat’s total disregard for risk but we could learn a little about grabbing freedom when it’s presented to us!
Yes there will be scary new things out there. Yes there will be challenges: trees to get stuck in, bigger cats to face off and a huge new world to
get used to.
But ask a cat if it’s worth it and (if they could answer) I’m sure the answer would be a sarcastic “What do you think dumbass!”
Of course a pet cat has a safety blanket to fall into - a door to run to - food, warmth and shelter to fall back on …..
But as a new digital entrepreneur with SFM and DEA you have all those things too….
When the door opens it’s risk free - a 30 day trial with a money back guarantee.
And when you do get started you have some of the smartest, most successful
people in the world to look after you.
Fairly soon that big scary new world becomes quite familiar and you start to carve out your own territory.
There’s a popular TV advert in the UK that features a cat becoming “more dog” at present.
I’d turn
that around myself and encourage you to “Be more Cat!”
Here’s the door - DOOR
Cheers!
