It’s a horrible day here on the West Coat of Scotland so I thought I’d give myself that warm fuzzy feeling I get from giving away some free tips and resources! 

If you read my mails then you’ll know I always recommend SFM and DEA as the top of the tree when it comes to teaching entrepreneurs how to build a long term, sustainable online business.

AND that I think they offer the best products and the Absolute best affiliate products to sell in that business.

But whatever you sell in your online business the one constant factor is that you need traffic - switched on, ready to buy, customers. 

People who already want and are searching for what you have in other words. 

As I’ve also covered in previous mails there are a million and one ways to reach that traffic (those people) That’s what makes doing business on the internet SO exciting.

You know what my favourite methods are? 

The ones that are FREE 

BLOGS, EMAIL and Video.

I’ve had considerable success with all three you know why? 

Because they allow me to put my message across the way that is best for me.

For everyone who reads this mail I want to share some free resources that I use however. You’ll need to Google them to visit the sites themselves but that’ll help you practice your resourcefulness!  

The secret to free marketing is to get Blogs and Videos syndicated as far and wide as possible. Email is more a case of finding the right lists and practicing your messaging. 

So sticking with the Blogs and Videos (and by the way if you don’t like doing either you can outsource them - but that does incur small costs so isn’t technically free) 

ONELOAD is a video distribution platform. You just upload your video to that and it’s automatically uploaded to multiple video sharing sites for you. The free version gives you a certain number of sites and you can upgrade if you want to send to many more. You will need to open free accounts with the various sites but only once. 

IFTTT (If This Then That) is a fab tool. Basically you can choose from a huge menu of IFs (If I do this - say post a blog on your site or a video on Youtube) The you choose from the same menu of THENs (automatically also post it to ….. wherever) Takes a little getting your head round but actually very simple. 

NETWORKED BLOGS If you have a blog on your website this will automatically syndicate your posts to Linked in Twitter and Facebook 

AWEBER - This is actually the keystone of list building. It’s what I use to grow my list of subscribers, send these emails and build relationships. It also allows me to post my broadcasts to Twitter and my Facebook page. It does cost about $9 per month - but that’s almost free so I’ve included it. 

YOUTUBE and GOOGLE+ Again you can link your channel to a few places so that when you upload a new video it goes there too. One of the best things about Youtube for both free and paid advertising is that you can link your website to your Youtube channel. 

When you do that you can embed links to the products and services you sell that can be clicked on from inside your video! That’s how some of you are on my list and how some of you joined SFM and DEA from my videos. 

Of course when you're in SFM you get highly detailed training on these and many more ways to grow your business and people like me will also share tactics and strategies with you. That’s the power of community at work. 

If you're in SFM /DEA already you’ll have some websites/bogs and will have set up your AWEBER account and hopefully your social media stuff so you can put these resources into action very quickly. 

If you’re not yet  a member I hope they give you some food for thought. Free marketing done right and with the right products can be utterly life changing. 

Trust me - There is just nothing like shooting a video or writing a blog or an email that makes you $thousands.  

It means that you don’t need a huge marketing budget to start your business. When you get results from free marketing you can obviously look at investing in paid marketing too and really start growing arms and legs on your empire!
