To round off another fantastic week online I want to give you a hype- free snapshot of my laptop lifestyle today.

Whenever I get a sale - someone applies to join SFM or upgrades to full membership, or to SFM Elite, DEA Silver, Gold, Platinum or Black, I get an email from the company. 

I know it’s an automatically generated message - part of the incredibly complicated, mega bucks system that they use (Infusionsoft). But it’s still a wonderful feeling. 

Particularly as the SFM and DEA’s main business is based in the USA and operates on a completely different time zone than mine - so I get most of these emails while I’m asleep and see them first thing in the morning before I get out of bed. What a way to start the day! 

Other times they drop in to my mailbox while I’m at the laptop - equally great. 

First thing I do is send out a welcome email and offer my help or just a “touch base” chat.

In my SFM - Digital Business Lounge  back office I have several other websites that sell affiliate products but I have to check manually to see my earnings from those (what a chore! LOL) 

So how does this “automatic income” happen? 

Well I do work hard - but usually only in chunks of a couple of hours. 

I shoot videos, write blogs, post adverts and send emails. All part of the superb training I’ve had. 

Then I go off and do something else: If it’s a nice day I might grab the camera go for a wander along the beach or in the forests nearby.. If I get some decent shots I put them up for sale through an online agency I use. 

Sometimes I just go into the garden and chop some wood for the woodburner. Other times I catch up on some training webinars or mastermind with associates on Skype.

If my partner is home on a break we might go for lunch. 

There is very little that I can’t pause and pick up later if needs be - say to let the guys in who are delivering our new kitchen - as I did today - or to pick up the cat from the vet. Or just because I’m not in the mood. 

That’s very important by the way - In my corporate career I was often not in the mood but I couldn’t really tell that to the boss and go for a walk! 

And actually when I make sales through Amazon, Itunes or through my guitar lessons or Energy Saver websites I don’t get the same buzz as an SFM sale…

A. Because I’m positioned at DEA Gold my commissions can be quite big 

B. Because those sales represent a life changing opportunity for someone (although learning the guitar or saving money on heating your home are also brilliant things) 

C. I don’t get the instant email. 

That said - today’s lifestyle freedom has involved me taking our magic wee kitten Dallas to and from the vets for his - there’s no nice way to put this - neutering operation.

But now he can go outside if he wants and won’t get into fights with other horny male cats, spray the house with his “scent” or create lots of little stray Dallas replicas.

You’ve got to take the rough with the smooth! 

Next week I’m heading across the water to Glasgow for some meetings with a carpenter and a motorsport company that want me to do some video marketing for them. 

I love it all -
