Sometimes you can be forgiven for thinking “Yeah Yeah - Heard it all before” ......

Great looking, superbly toned person, dressed to the nines in expensive designer clothes, poses in front of supercar and tells you how they can help you be just like them. 

My own mentors Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek used to portray themselves exactly like that.

Having met them both and got to know them through live events, webinars, training sessions I know that with them it’s just plain honesty.

They are genuinely like that and genuinely live those lifestyles. Stuart actually studied sports and fitness at college and made his first fortune in the health and dating industries. He is passionate about  health and fitness. 

He likes cars - so do I. I bought a classic BMW Z3 with some of my first online earnings. 

He likes nice things and has the money to buy them. Me too 

So whilst there is obviously a element of marketing in all this - which is about aspirations after all - you need to reach a bit beyond your own preconceptions and listen to what’s actually being said. 

Personally I don’t share a passion for fitness - I look after myself reasonably well and I have taken on some of Stuart’s advice on nutrition, exercise etc - because they give you more energy - and you need that when you run a business - where you are the boss. 

But I don’t do Gyms, jogging, weights (used to - trapped a nerve!) 

In his case he needs a shit load more energy than I do because he’s running several multi-million dollar business across multiple countries, has a large staff to manage and travels constantly to events where he needs to look good and give a lot of himself. 

He’s also running a business which shows people how to create more time and financial freedom in their lives. It’s their choice what they do with that time and money. He can really only share what he does with his…

Over the last few years Stuart has ditched the Lamborghini’s in his videos. He realised that not everyone wants that and in fact that it attracts the wrong type of people to his business. 

Aside from a daft sense of humour and a thirst for freedom I don’t really have much in common with my mentors. That doesn’t matter a damn. 

On one of the first Elite webinars with Stuart I attended he was broadcasting form his UK house. On the wall behind him could be seen an electric guitar. A white Fender Stratocaster in fact.

As a passionate guitarist I asked him if he played. He answered no not a note - I just thought it would look cool on video. 

That’s sacrilege to me so I typed NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! into the chat box. He must have got the point because that guitar was never seen again! 

Everyone makes mistakes! We are all human. In this community we all learn from each other. Excuse the pun but it’s just fine tuning - and SFM do that tirelessly.

BUT 

I started featuring some of my guitars in my marketing videos and I found that some people joined with me because they were also musicians. 

They had seen a lot of videos about SFM from lots of different affiliates but went with me because they identified with the music thing. 

The point is - All you need to do to be successful online is to be yourself. 

Particularly when you are referring people to a system and education platform like SFM and DEA.

This is a system and a skill set that anyone can use to make a better life for themselves and others.  

What you want out of it is up to you: 

A stunning condo in Miami, garage full of exotic cars, time to jet ski with dolphins and work on your fitness like Stu can be yours of thats what you want it.

Mansion in New Jersey, Baja buggies, film company and time to watch ice hockey games when ever he wants like Jay - ditto.

House in the Scottish highlands with tons of free time to walk along the coast, explore the hills and forests, play guitar, build an attic studio, travel with my partner and take photographs like me … ditto 

You don’t have to be like anyone else - You have to be you and this system and training makes that possible. 

It’s actually what you do with the freedom and the money that will attract people to your business. 

It’s called attraction marketing.
