And I was 51! 

Amazing how the years roll by - especially the more that get behind you! 

I got loads of birthday wishes on Facebook, Skype and elsewhere from friends old and new and from all over the world. Some of who I didn’t even know a year ago. Feels great. 

I keep a journal which I update on every birthday and on every New Years day. It’s a kind of sit rep on where I am in my life at the time. 

 It’s always amazing to look at what I wrote in it a year, 2 years, 5 years ago. This years entry is pretty amazing as this has been the year when I really took control of my life - by starting my own business on the internet. 

This is the year when myself and my partner moved to the kind of place we’ve dreamed of for years. 

Every time we go find a new forest or stretch of beach to explore we feel grateful. 

The ocean is in front of us and the Argyll Forest, Glencoe, the highlands and islands behind us. On a clear night we can see the milky way.

Whenever we have friends or family staying with us (more often than when we lived in the city… strange that!) They marvel at how we’ve been able to do it. 

The truth is - we just did it. 

It’s like the old saying - Who Dares, Wins.

The internet makes it possible for us to live wherever we want and my mentors and business partners SFM and DEA can teach anyone how - but you have to take the plunge.

Otherwise nothing changes.
