Just one final thought on the Titanic - at the risk of boring you lol….
In my last email I talked about the arrogance of the times and the faith in the old economy in 1912 and beyond when the Titanic disaster
happened.
The other thing I always think about in relation to the Titanic disaster and the world in general at that time was the elitism/balance of wealth that was in place.
There was a class system then that happily is really not around much anymore - again technology has levelled the playing
field out a hell of a lot.
The - too few - lifeboats on the Titanic were filled on a first come first served basis. But the first come - by design - were the wealthy.
They had the better tickets which put them on the higher decks - nearer the lifeboats. The poor were stuck way down below decks where they had an
almost impossible journey to make to get to “safety”.
In those days it took privilege to be wealthy. You inherited it or had the education to enable you to start a business or get a high paid job.
It mattered where you came from, who your family were - where you were in the class
system.
That way the rich would always have workers - kept in their places - down below.
Technology has and is changing that - especially the internet.
You don’t need to be rich, privileged or mega smart to start an
online business.
You don’t need special premises, employees, fancy equipment or a business degree to start an online business.
You don’t need previous experience, sales skills or even your own products to sell things online to a massive, hungry, global customer base.
You certainly don’t need to go down with a sinking ship.
You need easy to learn new skills, a computer of some kind, a broadband connection, a little money and time to start with, lots of help along the way and some balls (Not the ping pong balls I mentioned yesterday)
I’ll keep pointing you in the right direction (SFM and DEA) but you’ll have to take the first step ….
But a word or warning:
This is getting easier every day. That’s great but it means that more and more people are getting the
message. More and more people are now realising that starting an online business is no longer a risky, new fangled idea. It's actually now the safest income method. Inevitably that means the internet will get more crowded - more competitive.
The longer you dither around, sit on the fence or wait for the perfect time to start - the more competition you’ll
have.
So there is actually a good reason to be elitist - in a good way.
You do that by getting THE BEST training, selling THE BEST products. By keeping ahead of the pack. By being always on the bleeding edge (SFM and DEA)
Cheers
