Is it really Thursday again already?
Don’t know about you but it’s been another fab week here in Castlehill (chez nous)
Scotland.
Still knee deep in paint and unpacked new furniture but getting back to what passes for normality with us.
Amongst other things I’ve had some great conversations with a number of my SFM friends.
I’m always
tickled as I sit at my desk - often with the cat right beside me - when I’m looking out to sea as I talk on Skype to people in Canada, Australia, Ireland and the UK on Skype.
Some of the conversations I’ve had this week were masterminds with other SFM members, some were with members on my own “team” helping them out with bits and pieces of marketing, list building etc.
I’ve also been discussing a marketing co-op with an ex client of mine from my audio visual business development days. Some interesting projects on the horizon involving motorsport and bespoke hand made furniture.
Anyway it’s all good. Having the freedom to basically do what you want by acquiring new skills, changing the way you
look at things like work and money is truly priceless.
I can honestly say that I’m a new man. Very different to the way things were just 2 years ago when I found myself jobless with my savings dwindling.
I wasn’t handed this on a plate - it took work but I really couldn’t have done it without SFM and DEA - I just wouldn’t have know where or how to
start and would probably have run myself into debt and misery trying.
To paraphrase an advertising slogan used by a famous UK DIY company seems appropriate at the moment - SFM - It does what is says on the tin!
Cheers
