View from our garden - before the supermoon event.

I was out in the garden at 3.45 am today trying to get some pics of the Supermoon. It was there all right - blood red but unfortunately too far away for the lenses I have at the moment.

Couldn’t help but think about the Universe in general though as I peered at what we can see of it from our insignificant little planet. 

But many people talk about a different kind of universe - the one that operate in the hearts and minds of us humans. If any of you have read a book called The Secret or seen the famous movie version of it you’ll know what I mean.

If you haven’t it’s well worth checking out. It’s started many a mega - successful person (including Stuart Ross) on their road to riches. 

The secret is about the Law of Attraction. The theory being that if we put our desires and wants out to the universe honestly and in detail, then the universe will conspire to bring those things to you. 

Got to admit I used to dismiss this sort of thing as mumbo jumbo - I would still prefer to think of it as a way to use our very powerful subconscious to drive out conscious mind towards what we want. 

Whatever though - I’ve had lots of cause for thought about all this over the last few months - in fact since I was introduced to the SFM and DEA. 

The way things have come together for my partner and I over the last 3-4 months has been a very good example of this.

We used to say to each other if we could just pick up our big old Glasgow apartment and set it down in the countryside by the coast on a good sized piece of land we could grown vegetables in  - that’s what we would do.

Obviously that wasn’t really an option.  But we did start looking for a new place that was as close to that as possible. 

During that search we found a place that fitted the bill perfectly - except; It was too expensive and we weren’t sure if my partner’s business could be built there. It seemed too much of a risk. 

Nevertheless we travelled over to the area by boat several times and looked at a number of in budget properties. None were quite right for us. 

We went for a safer option and offered on a nice place on the mainland.

Here’s where “the universe” started to kick in. 

Our place sold very quickly and at a very good price.

1.The deal on the place we’d offered on fell through.

2.We decided to find a place to rent in our preferred area (near the ideal house) 

3.We found a magical place to rent for 6 months very close to the ideal house) 

4.I did some Facebook marketing for my partner’s business and was able to build her driving instruction business up to full time in a single weekend. 

5.We found a really good financial/mortgage  consultant (he’d shown us a couple of rental properties and I’d kept in touch) He suggested we offer a lower amount on the ideal house.

6.Our offer was accepted. 

7.On Saturday we got the concluding letter and we get the keys on 16th October.

So we got our ideal house (its as similar to our old Glasgow pad as it’s possible to be) It’s in our ideal location and we have a far smaller mortgage and far less outgoings that we had before. 

Now there have been a lot of obstacles along the way here. Delays, changes of dates, problems with passports - all sorts of things. 

But all of them have been easy to overcome. Any time we’ve had any doubts, something has come along to overcome them.

My SFM business has gone from strength to strength since moving here too and both of us are much happier than we’ve been for years.

There was a lot of time spent on the subject of mindset at the SFM momentum day in London the weekend before last.

Call it the universe, the law of attraction, the secret or just mindset but it’s probably the most important thing you need to change to get whatever you want out of life. 

SFM and DEA gives you the tools and the nuts and bolts - the system - to turn your dreams into reality but they also help you work on the mindset stuff.

Everything you need in other words - you just need to bring self belief.
