Happy Tuesday people!

One of the things a lot of people I spoke to last weekend were in agreement about - particularly the very inspiring 18 - 20 year old’s - was that at some point you have to take to the plunge. 

Stuart Ross touched on this too in his presentation.

With everything in this life you can only do so much research, so much due diligence, before you get to a point where you must make a decision. Take the plunge. 

That goes for a product you are considering buying ( A car, a camera, a house say) or a potentially life changing investment in your future.  

Now I don’t know about you but a room full of people from all over the world all talking about how lucky they are to have found an education - a system - a community - that has literally been life changing for them - tends to do it for me. 

I know a lot of companies hold events and I’ve been to quite a few - but this is something way, way different. 

Not to sound cheesy but there is a real sense of belonging to a family here where everyone has your back and you have theirs.

From being greeted by Stuart Ross at the door with a handshake and a “Well done on your recent successes mate - really pleased for you” (I’ve never met Stuart in person till last weekend by the way) 

To having a laugh with him in the bar later about my Scottish accent or chatting to Jay Kubassek over a beer much later. To chatting with people who you just know are going to become good friends - it’s all just so inspiring. 

I spoke to a number of people on Saturday who had joined as basic members and had come to the event just to “suss everything out” before taking it any further. Trust me they were not disappointed.  

One of them was a brilliant young guy of 20 who had actually joined at Platinum level. He had been at the Platinum workshop and was asked to stand up and tell us about it. 

This knocked me and everyone else out - he was clearly nervous and he told us this was way out of his comfort zone but he was doing it anyway. He also said it had been the best experience of his life so far.

Get this - this was actually the first time he had ever travelled alone too! -  this was his first experience of it !!!!! - WOW 

He upgraded to Black at the event. He told me at dinner that his parents (who he still lives with) will not be best pleased - he knows they will know he just made a big investment because he could see they’d checked his bank account. 

He didn’t care - he knows he’s in the right place, at the right time and with the right people. 

I can’t express how much I admire that guy. I just know he’s going to be making waves in the world. 

So if you are fretting about whether to take the plunge and “risk” spending $29.95 to have a look at this opportunity - self employment just might not be for you.
