I’d be lying if I told you this has all been plain sailing.
Don’t get me wrong starting and running an online business - then
several has not been a walk in the park.
It’s not difficult work - not with the the training, tools and systems SFM and DEA provide you with but it’s not without it’s challenges - like anything worth while.
It has been more worth working through those challenges than anything else I’ve ever done though - and
I’ve done a lot of things.
Although I’ve just had the best few months ever earnings wise and have moved to a new home in a beautiful place it took some work - in some ways the hardest work I’ve ever done
Not physical work - not like unloading truck loads of sound and video equipment , setting it all
up, operating complicated gear all night then stripping it all down again and loading back into a truck - Hell no!
Not like learning to play a guitar, learning how to record, produce and package songs, manage tours, rehearsals and gigs whilst doing a full time job. Hell no!!
But I’ve had to work hard on myself more than anything. I’ve had to change the way I think about work, money, investment, choice and I’ve had to learn a lot of new things.
Along the way there has been disappointment, frustration, doubt, uncertainty - you know the sort of stuff life throws at you
anyway.
I don’t blame anyone else for those things - certainly not SFM and DEA - they have been constant, reliable and inspiring throughout.
I would and do encourage anyone to join this amazing
business and community but I need to stress that if you do you will need to roll up your sleeves and work at it.
Do that and the rewards WILL come - and they are out of this world.
(sometimes in surprising ways - today I have one of my old clients coming to see me about some digital consultancy
work - called out of the blue - haven't seen him in 10 years. He looked me up online - boom!)
Cheers!
