A Facebook friend asked me this morning how I enjoyed the holiday weekend (It was a bank holiday in the UK so many people got Friday and Monday off work) 

I replied that I don’t really take any notice of public holidays anymore since becoming self employed and running my online business.

I told her that my life is a little like being on a permanent holiday now! 

It’s true - that doesn’t mean that I don’t do any work - just that the work involved in my business simply doesn’t take very long each day.

Also, as I love what I do, it doesn’t seem like “work” as I used to know it. 

Today for example I’m going down find a quiet spot on the shoreline near my new home to record a video about the silliness of the 40/40/40 lifestyle:

Work for 40 hrs a week for 40 years so you can retire at 65 or 70 years old on 40% of the income you’ve become used to. (No thanks!)

If you didn’t have a lot of money or the skills to start a business the 40/40/40 used to be your only option.

But that’s just so 2008 now! 

We all have much better choices than that thanks to technology  (the internet) that anyone can learn to leverage with the right education.

I’ll talk about that in my video today which I’ll share with you tomorrow. 

Meantime here is exactly how I will do that video and exactly how it will potentially earn me thousands of dollars - as a number of my previous videos already have: 

I’ll shoot the video with my Canon camera and a tieclip mic. It will just be me with the beautiful surroundings I now live in as the background. 

I sometimes do these videos from my car using an Iphone - it doesn’t need to be fancy and you don’t need expensive kit. 

I’ll explain how the 40/40/40 doesn’t make sense anymore and will explain how easy it is now to set up an online business offering a ton of time freedom, a superb income and how it can be run from anywhere. I’ll then explainn how the SFM and DEA offer the best way to do it. 

I don’t write scripts for my videos - I think about what I want to say and just let the camera roll. I may have to do a few takes before I’m happy but that all comes with practice. 

When I get back home - I will transfer the video to my Macbook (I may even do this on a picnic bench by the sea if the weather stays sunny) 

Then I’ll open the video in one of the simple video editing programmes I use - Screenflow or Imovie) 

I’ll edit the video to remove any bits I mess up and to add a few slides I’ve already created. 

Then I will upload it to my Youtube channel. 

When its on Youtube I will create a clickable link within the video. When someone clicks that it will take them to whichever SFM landing page I decide to use from my SFM toolkit. That landing page will introduce Stuart and Jay and offer their free 7- day video series.

(I’ll set up the link using the link generator tool in my SFM back office) 

Then I will add some relevant keywords - the ones that people looking for a better lifestyle would type into Google (this information is very easy to find - thanks to my training) 

I’ll do a couple of other things in the description area which you will be able to see tomorrow if you have a look at the video 

Then I’ll pay someone on Fiverr $5 to set up some backlinks to the video (I already have 130 or so videos on my channel and over 140 subscribers so I get good ranking from Youtube now anyway - but this helps get more views) 

The whole process will take about 3 hours - most of that will be the time it takes to upload. 

All of this is simple to learn and do -  then it’s out there forever working for me 24/7/365 all over the world. 

The rest is completely automated: If someone clicks on the links in the video and signs up for the SFM video series there is a good chance they will like what they see and apply for membership. 

Around 60-70% of the people who do that go on to become full members and of those people a similar %age go on to upgrade to the life changing DEA Silver, Gold, Platinum or Black partnerships. 

All of this earns me commissions ranging from $20 to $6000 - and SFM handle all of the sales for me.
