I hate being sold to even more but I’m pretty much immune to that now anyway.

But lets be honest when you have an online business you make money by selling things. 

But the very big difference is that you don’t sell things……

What? 

Well not directly. You advertise products on the internet, people buy them, you get paid. The people buying the products have made up their own minds to buy. 

Of course there is marketing involved in the process - but not selling as we understand it - the way car salesmen still (for some reason) do. 

We are a savvy bunch of consumers these days. We have Google, we have Youtube and can do all the research we want to on pretty much anything before we decide we want or need it. 

So we come to the table fully armed with all the info we need, decision made, credit card in hand, good to go. 

This is actually called the Zero Moment of Truth and it has changed our world.
