I just took part in a “Tweet Meet” - another first for me! 

I think my friend - who set up the event on Twitter - coined the phrase actually.

It was really just a public chat about the subject of podcasting - she has started her own podcast and I’m just getting started on mine. As she is from Ireland and Im from Scotland we decided to call our Tweet Meet #podcastgab

“Gab” is a Scots/Irish word for a chat - so it seemed appropriate - and short enough to work well.

Anyway our first podcast gab went well and we will be doing them every Wednesday at 11am GMT - feel free to join us if you are on twitter 

Just look for #podcastgab

We will just be sharing tips about setting up and running a podcast: What mics to use, the best software and more. Hopefully lots of people interested in podcasting will join in and get some value. 

The only thing to remember with Twitter is that each tweet can only be 140 character long (including the hashtag) So you need to keep them short and punchy! - It’s good fun  

Ah well - just another day in the online life …. Now where's that kitten got to ? lol
