Hope you had a great Saturday - or if you missed most of it because you celebrated the end of the working week a little too hard - hope the hangover’s subsiding!
Yesterday I promised to give you some examples of how I’ve turned investing in my passions into profit. Here they are.
Music: Over the years I’ve invested a lot of money in musical kit. From Guitars to Amps to Recording equipment, rehearsals, demo recordings….
Each time I made an investment it made me a better musician - better guitars, effects, cables, amplifiers just do that - same for any instrument. I also invested a lot of time learning how to play different styles. I learned how to record and do sound engineering so I didn’t have to pay other people to do it.
That got my band better gigs - got us sounding better and so we got paid more. It got us support tours where we sold CDs of our own recordings (Yes I did the CD covers, sound production and even T-shirts myself - using the investments I’d made in equipment)
I also give guitar lessons and now my
SFM Investment has enabled me to build a Guitar based website which sells instruments accessories and online guitar lessons. Those investments have paid for themselves many times over.
Photography: Again, as with music, I’ve invested in equipment and learning. I’ve made that pay for itself many, many times over. I sell photos
online via a third party who turns them into Prints, posters, canvas’s, acrylics and a range of products like mouse mats and mugs.
I’ve worked for insurance companies taking photos of accident damaged cars.
I do a lot of videos promoting all of the affiliate
products and services I promote - in particular for my SFM business. I’ve used SFM, training on video marketing and taught myself how to use numerous video editing programs. This in particular has made me 10’s of thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions.
I’ve just been commissioned to film and produce 2 videos for my accountant.
SFM: THE ONE! In short this investment has given me massive opportunities and money making flexibility. It’s given me the skills, mindset and systems to basically make money out of anything I’m interested in.
My SFM business itself
pays high commissions regularly as well as several residual income streams. That’s only going to get better as they release more and more amazing products for business owners this year.
I’ve applied the training and systems to my photography and musical interests as I explained above. I’m working on a podcast now and will be using my own music and the SFM toolkit to build the
branding for that.
I’ve created an affiliate business for an energy saving product - again using all the SFM simple website building and graphics tools.
I’ve gone into an Amazon business with my SFM sponsor and several other SFM affiliates ….
It gets better every day.
But aside from the money side what’s the most import investment that all these things have in common?
Its the investment I made in ME - That’s the most important thing YOU can do - Invest in YOU.
If you really want something you will ALWAYS find the money - that’s just a law of the universe. If You REALLY want something, that law will take care of the rest.
I REALLY wanted to be a great guitarist - the guitars, amps etc are just the tools - the learning was the investment.
I REALLY wanted to be a good photographer and video maker - same goes for the cameras, lighting kit etc
I REALLY wanted to be my own boss and live the internet lifestyle - SFM provided the tools and training.
My benchmark in all of these - my proof if you like - was “can I get paid to do them?” - Yes I can.
Sometimes its just smarter - more financially intelligent - to say to yourself “Can I afford NOT to invest in this?” rather than “I can’t afford to invest in this”.
If I were to tot up everything I’ve spent on photography and music it would far outweigh what Invested in SFM and then my DEA Gold
membership yet it’s the investment that’s paid me back the most.
Now this isn’t a sales pitch but imagine it was and that at the end I asked you to invest $29.95 to apply for an SFM membership (bearing in mind everything I’ve told you it has done for me)
Imagine I
also told you that I’d give you that money back after 30 days if you didn’t like what you saw?
No brainer ? - Well that is exactly how SFM works.
See you later
