What's BDA? I hear you ask

In my previous life it meant British Dental Association ( I produced a number of conference events for them) 

Now however I've just discovered from my good friends and coaches Greg and Fiona, that it also means : - BELIEF | DECISION | ACTION 

The back story they shared with me concerns an email they received from a subscriber. 

In the email this person said: 

"You were very lucky and fortunate to have met Stuart Ross when you did. You were at the right place at the right time. I won't go into my life story, but needless to say, I don't have the money to join SFM like you did." 

This annoyed my friends and I can see why. Was every one of the thousands of SFM members just in the right place at the right time? - Wow - that's a lot of luck! 

It's an example of the victim mentality - victim of circumstance, victim of the government, parents, the system,the economy, the weather … take your pick.

This mindset is easy as it means you never need to take responsibility for your own thinking or your own choices - why bother? Some people are just born lucky ……… bollocks! 

When my friends met Stuart and SFM, like me, they were in a very bad place. 

Just made redundant with no income and at an age where jumping back into the rat race is not so easy (even if you're mad enough to want to!) 

All of us took a leap of faith when we were introduced to this and spent the money to get positioned for the best income potential. 

That's where BELIEF comes in. The belief that we would make this happen - the alternative being to risk being chewed up and spat out (again) by the corporate world. 

Thats where DECISION comes in:  The decision that we WILL make this work - no one else will do it for us. Sympathy from friends and family is nice but doesn't pay the mortgage!

That's where ACTION comes in: The action of working your ass off UNTIL you make it happen. 

You've probably heard these universal truths before but here they are again: 

YOU Create your life

YOU create your "luck" 

YOU create your future. 

My friends and I are the first to admit that we are not the smartest people in the world (you don't need to be) but neither are we stupid or naive. 

All of us and most of the SFM community have been in, or are still in careers that required us to think on our feet and take on considerable responsibilities.

We are not the type of people who are fooled by hype, fake promises or pie in the sky schemes and get rich quick nonsense. 

We know a good thing when we see it, accept that it will take work and dedication and are fully prepared to do the B.A.D required. 

SFM and DEA cannot and will not do everything for you.

They can do a hell of a lot of it - They can provide you with Absolutely everything you need in terms of training, business tools, systems, resources and high level, ongoing support to create your own life.

But YOU need to use it. That's all.
