Hope you liked my pic from yesterday.

It was a very hot day here in Innellan and I did overindulge in sun worship and have the sunburn to prove it - so it’s not all plain sailing! 

But the photography thing got me thinking. 

It got me thinking about learning new skills. That’s what I did to take more control of my life and start my online business. 

It’s also what I did when I wanted to play the guitar as a kid and its also what I did when I wanted to take better photographs. 

All these skills have a few things common. 

1. You need to commit to learning 

2. You need to REALLY want to learn 

3. You need to put the learning into practice

4. You need the best tools for the job. 

Now it’s definitely true that you can get great sounds out of a cheap guitar (look at Seasick Steve) and you can get great photos from a cheap camera (look at David Bailey - in his early days anyway) 

But the truth is Seasick Steve has a massive production team behind him both live and in the multi million dollar studios that he records in. David Bailey and all the best known photographers have mega expensive kit now and teams of techies and assistants working for them. 

It’s the same for Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek - founders of SFM and DEA.

But it wasn’t that way in the early days when they were learning the ropes. They both made their first million online without much more than a laptop and an insatiable thirst for learning how to build better life styles. 

That thirst is now to share what they learned.

Over the years I’ve spent a lot of money on Guitars and Cameras and I’m pretty good at both - I’ve been paid for both at least.

But I don’t regret a single penny I’ve spent. My Gibsons and Fenders have made me a better player and my Professional Canon camera has made me a better photographer. 

They have also paid for themselves many times over. I’ve sold photo’s online and I’ve played hundreds of paid gigs with my band and with my partner.       

SFM are DEA are as precious an investment to me now than my guitars or Camera kit. Much more so in fact as they have been literally life changing. 

With all this in mind I get a bit annoyed when I hear people moaning about the cost of things. Why would they expect to get a business system and a genuinely life changing education for free????

I don’t get it.

It’s like expecting to get a Camera that’s cost millions to develop, perfect and produce for nothing. It’s like getting a guitar that’s been hand made by artisans using centuries of knowledge about the art of making instruments. 

The system and knowledge you get when you become a member of SFM and DEA has taken over 10 years to develop. It’s cost millions of dollars and is backed up by a worldwide team of programmers, software designers, graphics and copywriting experts. 

It definitely is the Canon camera of digital marketing. It definitely is the Fender or Gibson of the internet business industry.

If it was a car it would be a Rolls Royce. If Carlsberg made digital business systems…… you get the point. 

So yes it will cost you money to join SFM - a drop in the ocean compared to what you get in return.

But it’s probably the best investment in yourself and your future you could ever make in today’s world.
