Today I want to share a couple of great resources with you. One of them I've had for quite a while but hadn't done anything with, the other is new to me as
well.
Click HERE for my video about them
Big thanks to a fellow SFMer and friend Jay for
his tutorial on these resources which inspired me to do a similar thing for my team members and subscribers.
Good marketing these days is all about content. Content that actually offers value, provides solutions, informs, educates and entertains.
Whilst
you ideally want to produce your own content you can also share other peoples - the current thinking is that at least 50% of your content should be providing value this way rather than just asking for a sale all the time.
It's also the age of social sharing so being a "curator" of useful info that's already there is a great way to build your own online reputation and
business.
As you'll see from the video Sniply allows you to grab interesting content that's relevant to your audience from the web and add a link to your own business in an unobtrusive way.
Buffer then lets you share that link with a variety of your social media and
business accounts: Facebook., G+, Twitter, Linkedin…. etc.
It also lets you schedule those posts to go out a number of times per day so that they stay at or near the top of the various news feeds - very clever.
So imagine you have found an amazing piece of content
that you know will appeal to and provide value to your target audience: "10 ways to stop procrastinating" for home business owners say…
Then at the bottom of the peice there's a clickable link with your photo or logo on it that offers a free video about generating leads for a home business.
There's a good chance the reader will also be interested in that and might become your next lead - at no cost.
The other big advantage is that if you've put a little thought into finding the content and who you share it with, the chances are you'll be getting very targeted, pre-qualified leads out of this.
Both Sniply and Buffer offer free accounts but can be upgraded to paid accounts that offer more features. Give them a try and let me know how you get on!
Cheers
