Right now there is a serious skills shortage in the world - a shortage of digital skills that is. 

Technology has grown so fast and become so much a part of everyone's lives - both at work and at home. Too fast for our established forms of education to adapt. That's why online education of the type offered by SFM is such a huge industry.

Then I looked for local Facebook groups. I found one called Weebay Dunoon where locals buy and sell goods, exchange info and so on. I got my partner to join the group.    

Yesterday morning as we were having a coffee in bed I logged into the group on the  ipad and posted a message  about my partner's business. 

She was inundated with responses. By the end of the day she had 12 new pupils in the area and several more lined up over the next month. 

You see although there are several instructors in the area they just cant cope with the demand. There's a severe shortage of driving instructors here.

SHORTAGE = OPPORTUNITY

Just to be clear - That's thousands of £s of ongoing business generated with 5 minutes work on a tablet computer while lying in bed……. 

Now a driving instructor can only do so much - so many hours.

A digital entrepreneur however doesn't have those kind of restrictions. They can handle any number of customers from anywhere in the world. Since most of the process is automated it's not even necessary to be awake to make money.

If you sell digital education products online in an economy that is literally crying out for them you can probably see the potential?
