Just a thought for the weekend (the view over the sea from my window seems to be making me have a lot of these thoughts ) 

For a few years my partner and I had talked about where we'd ideally like to live. 

We loved our place in Glasgow. It was one of those big Victorian apartments with the high ceilings, ornate cornices, beautiful woodwork and tons of storage. 

We modernised it with double glazing, a new kitchen and working fireplace in the lounge. We also stripped and varnished all the floors. 

In short it was our perfect place - except that it was in Glasgow and that it had no private garden.

We used to wish that we could just pick it up and move it to somewhere by the seaside !

But in fact that's pretty much what we have done! 

Obviously not literally - but a lot of the houses and apartments in the area are of the same style and age as our old place. Big difference being that they are a lot cheaper and all have great big gardens and stunning sea views. 

We're renting one just like that now but have already seen one we want to buy.  

So you see - you really can get exactly what you want. 

If you have a clear goal in mind and a step by step method of getting there - anything is possible. 

Obviously I'm talking about my internet business but I've also just got my partner her first pupil here through digital marketing (she's a driving instructor) 

You just wouldn't have this sort of freedom with most jobs or businesses because they tie you to a particular area or close to it. 

We live in exciting times - no doubt about it. If you arm yourself with the modern skills you need to thrive in our new economy the possibilities are endless.
