I was on a mastermind webinar last night and met a new SFM member who has joined the team I'm part of.

When someone joins our team we always do a little introduction where each of us gives a short version of our stories - what led us to seeking an online lifestyle and how we discovered SFM.

We invite new members to do the same. 

I thought it would be good to share our new members story with you as I'm sure lots of people can relate to it. 

Nina (from USA) told us how she had spent many years as a primary (elementary) teacher but that she had become disillusioned with all the bureaucracy surrounding the profession.

She wasn't getting paid enough to get by but didn't know what else to do as it was a vocation for her. Teachers, like nurses are paid far less than they are worth. 

So she just kept doing it as she didn't know there were other options she could pursue. 

I can definitely relate to that. When I was working in business development I felt the same. I did't feel very fulfilled but I was so busy that I couldn't see how to find time to look for something else. Even If I could find that time I didn't really know what else…

The job was paying the bills but with the recession in full swing i wasn't likely to be getting a pay rise any time soon. I felt trapped in a troubled industry and was looking at years of the same pay and unsatisfying career. 

Luckily (although it didn't feel lucky at the time!) I was made redundant so the decision was made for me - suddenly I had the time - and a payout to invest in my future. 

Luckily (again) I found SFM soon after that and had a new career as a self employed online entrepreneur. 

Normally to change careers, especially in your mid forties - you'd be looking at re-skilling anyway . Traditionally that would mean college or university or some kind of formal training course.

You'd be taught slowly and at considerable expense by people who aren't actually doing - they're teaching. 

With SFM though you can earn as you learn and you learn from the top, hands on people in the internet industry. People who are walking the walk - not just talking the talk.  

I've never looked back and if you can relate to any of this I'm sure you wouldn't look back either. But you need to take the first step. 

It'll cost you less than your daily coffee - much less than your daily commute -  to find out what you can do with SFM. Unlike either of those though you can get your money back for up to 30 days if you don't agree.
