One of the main things I love about my online business - apart from being able to run it from pretty much
anywhere - is that it lets me just be myself.
When I was in business development I didn't really feel that way. For starters I had to wear a suit. I like a nice suit when I choose to wear one - but every day … not so much.
Ironing shirts at 7 in the morning, keeping several suits circulating at the dry cleaners - polishing shoes - not really my bag!
I know that's just a small thing really. There were also the networking events, sales meetings and exhibitions when I really had to turn on the charm and keep smiling
Even when I didn't much identify with the people around me - and my feet were sore!
Now I'm able to just be myself - warts and all (metaphorically speaking)
When I write blogs or shoot
videos or add content to my websites it's just me behind the pen or the camera. I'm quite happy that not everyone will get me - I'm more interested in those that do.
My SFM business lets me pick and choose who I work with and who I can help to build life changing online businesses with the same education and systems that I use.
It's just more satisfying and a lot more fun to spend time with people I have something in common with - that have the same determination to live life on their own terms.
I always find that's the case when I meet new people joining SFM and DEA through my way of presenting the
business in my marketing.
That's how Stuart Ross, Jay Kubassek and every member of SFM & DEA I've got to know operates too.
They're just themselves - you either relate to them or you don't and if you don't - no problem.
All you are really doing with an affiliate marketing business is introducing people to something. Much like telling them about a great restaurant you've discovered or a great movie you just saw.
You wouldn't put on a false
persona or get in their face to do that would you?
Me - I just like straight talking and honesty. I just tell people what SFM and anything else I promote has done for me. It hasn't done anything for me I don't promote it. Why would I bother? I'm not stupid!
There are billions of people looking for things online after all. Lots of them will identify with YOUR way of presenting them.
Believe in yourself and your business and others will too.
Cheers
