Can anyone be an entrepreneur?
Some people say no - you have to be born an entrepreneur
Robert Kiyosaki disagrees in his famous book Rich Dad, Poor Dad
He says all it takes for anyone to become an entrepreneur is a little drive and ambition.
Of course he also says that leveraging proven systems is the easiest way to achieve success.
I was thinking about leverage over the weekend. It comes in many forms but I'd sum it as using resources that are already there to make life easier instead of trying to do everything off your
own back.
One little example from my own life at the moment would be getting everything organised for our move to a new house at the start of next month.
We have 15 years of accumulated stuff to shift to the place we are renting for 6 months to see if we like
the area enough to buy a place there.
Amongst other things we need a lot of boxes to carry all the bits and pieces that are coming with us. So I "leveraged" my brother's resources. He works at a warehouse that sells goods on Ebay and has access to unlimited boxes.
That's a small example I guess but an invaluable one for us at the moment.
Another example would be more literal - imagine actually building a house…. You would use leverage in a more literal sense for that: You'd use trucks and cranes to move the materials around - much easier and much faster.
So really SFM is the same thing when it comes to building an online business.
They have all the levers in place for you to use - the systems, the methods, the marketing materials and the training. You also have the co-founders themselves to
leverage.
They make all their videos and written copy available for you too. So you can let their vast experience, reputations and phenomenal marketing skills work for you.
I suppose this is similar in many ways to buying a franchise but with
much more flexibility. You are getting a "business in a box" but also a raft of tools that can be leveraged for whatever other goods and services you may want to promote and sell online.
With a franchise you don't get that option - you are stuck with whatever products and services they sell. You are also tied into contracts and pay a lot more than even the highest position in
SFM would cost.
It really is a no brainer. Anyone can be a successful entrepreneur with that kind of leverage.
