Wow - I'd forgotten just how much hassle is involved in moving home! 

The list of things to be done seems endless - near impossible.

Quite honestly if I was still working as an employee - trying to do all that whilst chained to a 9-5 -  think I'd probably just cancel the whole thing! 

But luckily I don't - I guess in many ways thats a good example of what being able to set my own hours and take the time needed to get it all done really means. 

Not only can we pick and choose where we want live but  I can find the time to work through the process. 

This has also stressed the importance of having a plan B (and a plan C an D)

Obviously that's important for buying, selling houses and being prepared for every eventuality that could come up but it's even more important in the grand scheme of life.

I was writing up my story yesterday for a Linkedin group I just joined. The group is about changing careers/lifestyles in middle age.  

Quite a big topic these days - there are a lot of members. I think SFM is going to be interest to a lot of people who find themselves wanting to or having to do that for various reasons. 

I wrote about how when I had the strong feeling I was going to be made redundant a few years back I decided to start looking at alternatives.

That's when I decided to start a business and for me doing it online was the obvious choice.   

I wish I'd found SFM back then. It would have saved me a lot of time spent on Franchises and other online endeavours that in the end were just not sustainable. 

You see if you put all your eggs in one basket - a franchise business or a programme that might not stand the test of time - you can find yourself in a real pickle further down the line. 

SFM's training and digital systems means you never need to do that. You can apply   your new skills to lots of things - lots of eggs and lots of baskets. 

Anyway - I better keep looking for lots of cardboard boxes!
