Since going self employed and starting my online business I've heard that advice a lot - both from The SFM leaders and from my Gold coaching mentors Greg and Fiona. I've also heard it form many successful members of the SFM community - many of whom are now firm friends of mine.

My first ever mentor - a guy called Dec Cluskey first taught me this. He formed the band The Bachelors back in the sixties. They've recorded countless albums, had 5 number one hits and they continue to play and record to this day.  

Dec also teaches people how to be successful in the music biz - by stressing that it is A BUSINESS. 

I joined his "Makehits" training progamme years ago and learned a ton from him about writing, recording and performing as well as the business side of that industry. 

More importantly, like SFM and DEA do he taught me invaluable lessons about nurturing a success mindset. 

I think it's the most important skill an entrepreneur can learn.
