I was passing on some information to a friend about an apartment my
partner and I rented in Italy a couple of years back.
The pic above is from the little town called Capena the apartment was in. A lot of artists live there and the bench we are on was made by one of them.
It brought back some great memories. As you can probably tell from the pic we were having a very relaxed, contented time.
This was when I had just started to make my living full time online and it felt pretty good.
I remember walking up the little narrow cobbled streets to the local internet cafe in the mornings to check on my business and do a little work.
Then I'd pop into the bakery next door for the morning bread and anything else we needed.
After breakfast we would usually jump in the hired car and set of for somewhere interesting.
The feeling of freedom that living like this offers is addictive - when you get a taste of it you never want to go back to the ordinary
life.
To be able to pick up and go whenever you want and for as long as you want is amazing.
Since then I've run my internet businesses from Tenerife, Cyprus, the South od France and Ireland.
Its also amazing that you can find an internet connection pretty much anywhere - a tiny rural Italian town on the outskirts of Rome for example.
We really do live in an amazing modern world and we should be embracing all of the
possibilities it offers us in the short time we have here.
Here's the application page link.
