I’ve been so busy shooting videos for my online guitar course that I’ve neglected to shoot any for my Youtube channel for a while

 

So I shot one yesterday about the set up I use for doing scripted videos

For the most part I don’t follow a script but there are times when its very useful to do so

 

In my previous life in AV industry I did autocue for a lot of politicians, celebs and big corporates.

 

The equipment then was bulky - either huge monitors at the back of the room or heavy glass and mirror rigs  fitted on big cameras.

 

But these days you can get an excellent smartphone autocue app for selfie type vlogging.

 

In the video I review it and the steadicam (Gimbal) I use to keep things stable on the move.

 

I never cease to be amazed by what’s possible these days
