Hi
That cat of ours I told you about on Monday…..
He just doesn’t learn
As I mentioned he’s been bring us little baby birds and mice most mornings - it’s his current obsession
And every time I either get them away from him and dispose of them if they are dead, or on rare occasions save them from a horrible, messy fate.
All cats do this but the other 3 cats we have had here stop bringing them in to the house right after the first time.
Why go to the bother of catching then if the big cats are just going to take them? They seem to realise
But not young Ragnar.
He also keeps climbing 30 feet up a tree in our garden (birds nest up there) even though he finds it very difficult to get back down.
Its mad behaviour but it’s not that different to some of things we humans do
When we keep doing the same things but expect different results (Einstein’s definition of madness)
We know for example that most 9-5 jobs are not going to give us the kind of life we really want
Even if they pay well, they use up most of the time we have to enjoy the fruits of our labour.
And by the time we are able to retire from them, the best years of our lives are gone.
Yet if we lose a 9-5 job (and I’ve been there and done this) the first instinct we have is to replace it with exactly the same - or as close to it as can get.
Actually if this happens when you are a bit older you probably have to take a step down in hierarchy and pay.
Madness.
Comes from fear mainly.
But if you could get a guided tour of the alternative - a life of financial, time and location independence - with no risk …..
And you could start to build that life in your spare time with expert support, mentoring and with a group of people on the same path …..A virtual blueprint …..
Why wouldn’t you?
Cheers for now!
Dave
