Hi
At 7.30 on Sunday Morning our youngest cat came in with a tiny little baby Goldfinch in his mouth. It was still barely alive
Its Springtime and he’s been bringing us these little presents almost dally for a while now
It's not nice, but cats will be cats in the country.
Anyway I managed to get this one away from him and I stood there half asleep with the poor little thing twitching weakly in my hand
Eventually I thought the best thing to do would be to throw it on top of a hedge in the garden
That way it would be out of the cat’s reach until I could get dressed and do something better for it later.
But in mid air it flew off like a dart into the trees.
By playing dead it had given itself another chance at life - with a very lucky intervention from yours truly.
Sometimes when all seems to be lost, something comes along that changes everything.
You have to see the opportunity and you have to go for it
Just like that little bird did.
Just like I did when, redundant for the second time in 2 years at 47 years old, I was sent a link to a website introducing Stuart Ross and his organisation SFM (Now Mentors.com)
In a reasonably short space of time that led to a shift from the depths of despair and fear about the future to a new life in the country - actually our dream life.
It also put it in my power to pay that forward as an affiliate
So if you are in need of a second chance at life (maybe even a third though few of us are that lucky)
Clicking on that banner under this message could well be it…
Bests
Dave
