Hi
We are fast approaching one of my 3 favourite seasons here in Argyll - Spring.
Autumn and summer are the other two. Not so much winter which tends to be just wet and windy.
Spring brings an end to that gloomy, dark winter period. Magpies are nesting, the wild garlic, daffodils and bluebells are starting to appear and the sun is beginning to warm things up.
Soon we will be spending lots of time in the garden which we love.
So we’ve hired two gardeners for a couple of days to cut back the hedges that enclose our garden.
Got to admit that I have let things get seriously out of hand there.
I’ve done some trimming and chopping but when I look at photos of the garden from when we moved in 6 years ago its pretty shocking how much those bushes have grown!
They’ve grown to over 10 feet high and several feet outwards.
It has got to the stage where the professionals have had to be called in!
That’s what happens if you continually ignore a situation that needs attention.
Its a slow process so easy to keep putting off ……..
Then one day
You look back
And
Its out of control - something needs to be done
In this example I’ve allowed the hedges and bushes (and there are a lot of them) to grow to a stage where I don’t have the tools or experience to deal with them.
But I did see these local gardeners working on our neighbour’s immaculate and lovely garden last week and decided “Right! - D.I.N!) and booked them
This is often the case with life itself: You get stuck in a job, career, business that you hate but do nothing as it gradually gets worse. At least its (almost) paying the bills you tell yourself.
Thats a good time - as with our garden - to call in the experts. The mentors who can provide the experience and tools to get you to where you would much rather be.
Thats what did when I was in that situation myself and its been one of the best decisions I’ve made and some of the best money money I’ve spent on myself
I’m talking of course about The Mentors Launch Pad programme.
Which starts with a free account so you have a chance to see them at work
Bests
Dave
