Hi
Is a word my colleagues and I came up with some years ago in the topsy turvy world of corporate events
It basically summed up “that Monday feeling” anyone who has worked a 9-5 job for any time is familiar with
But in that line of work we had often worked some or all of the weekend too so we also came up with
Mondoze ……. (knackered)
We came up with quite a few words and phrases that were peculiar to our industry. Most of them don’t translate outside of the industry or are unrepeatable here
The point is that most of us in the Audio visual, Live events, conference arena really couldn’t see ourselves doing it into retirement. Too stressful and too tiring
The catch 22 however was that we had no time to look for anything else!
But I got lucky.
When I was made redundant from by the multi national corporation I’d worked12 years for I was poached during my garden leave by a small, family run company
I knew they just wanted whatever customers I could bring with me - they’d done it with ex colleagues of mine several times before.
I knew that they would try to get rid of me as soon as they had milked me for existing business.
So I spent as much of their time and some of mine as I could learning internet affiliate marketing.
I learned it from Stuart Ross, Jay kubassek and their amazing team at SFM and DEA. You see they also offer a very generous affiliate partnership so that you can earn (a lot) as you learn.
By the time the dysfunctional family business let me go I was already earning more than they were paying me anyway.
The rest is history
And now I don’t have Mondaze or Mondoze!
You shouldn’t either - Create a FREE SFM account here - And see what’s possible
Bests
