That’s the name of a local shop here. If you’re not Scottish it translates as Do It Yourself and as the name suggest is a DIY store.

 

I’ve been in there quite a lot over the last two years as for obvious reasons its been tough to get hold of trades people

 

After the lockdowns they all had a backlog of work to get through and now the property boom here is keeping them busier than ever too.

 

So I’ve been doing painting, tiling and wallpapering myself instead of getting the experts in.

 

I’ve made an Ok job of it but I know my limits

 

We now need a carpet fitted and I’m NOT tackling that

 

If you want to start an online business it’s the same kind of deal. You might be able to muddle through some of the learning curves involved on your own but there will come a time when you really need help.

 

That might even be right at the start when you have no product or service of your own to take to market

 

Luckily affiliate marketing offers a solution to that problem and is actually the model that some people stick with. They never build their own products.
