Hi
When I see footage of a gig or special event shot on a smartphone I cringe. Usually the lighting and therefore video quality is crap and the sound is nearly unbearable.
If you’ve ever played in a band and a friend has shot a video of you performing on their phone you’ll know what I mean.
So for a long time I haven’t used mine for anything serious. Certainly not for my Youtube marketing videos.
I’ve preferred to use my Professional DSLR camera and outboard audio recording kit. But man it weighs a ton and take a while to set up. Especially on those time where I’ve shot videos of myself in my car or outdoors.
So I have recently looked into how I could get better quality videos out of my Iphone.
I’ve come up with a great set up that delivers the goods and I wrote a blog post about it you can read here
Happy shooting
Bests
